Altaïr
Gironde (33) · Ground-mounted PV (former vineyard)
From an abandoned vineyard to a solar plant with agricultural co-use.
Altaïr
A former AOP vineyard, left fallow for around a decade, ~13 hectares in southwest France. Land that no longer produced, requalified into an ~4.5 MWc ground-mounted PV plant, with agricultural co-use envisaged (beehives) so solar and biodiversity coexist.
The land was secured by a long-term lease promise. Solmeria intermediated the sale to a developer.
Fees are split into four milestones: the lease-promise transfer, the permit filing, its cleared approval, and finally the long-term lease signature.
